Polyurethan ist aufgrund seiner Abriebfestigkeit und Langlebigkeit für den Einsatz in der Förderindustrie gut geeignet. Die Polyurathan Stützringe zeichnen sich durch eine sehr hohe Verschleißfestigkeit aus. Zudem ist das Material weitgehend beständig gegen mineralische und pflanzliche Öle.
